Day 1: Killarney

ITALY/SHANNON, CORK, KERRY/KILLARNEY (-/-/-)
On horseback through the brilliant green shades of Ireland. The stunning wild nature and mysterious legends make this land unique, one of the natural wonders of our planet. Explore with us the uplands of County Kerry, admiring the majestic MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range. The terrain will vary: country roads, forests, mountain paths, bogs, and some of the beaches of Waterville, reaching the magnificent 6.4 km stretch of golden sand at Rossbeigh. The Iveragh Peninsula stretches southwest of Killarney and features many historic and archaeological sites along the famous "Ring of Kerry." We will be in the saddle for about five hours a day to discover the landscape of brilliant green. At the end of the days, the horses will stay with our staff, while the riders are transported to their bed & breakfast for the evening. The main points of interest will be:

Killarney, a tourist paradise with shops, restaurants, and pubs offering lively Irish music.
Caragh Lake, a vibrant landscape often dominated by unusual cloud formations.
Ireland truly seems to be painted with a palette of 500 shades of green...
Arrival independently in Killarney (or transfer available upon request, to be paid locally – prices per one-way transfer (up to 3 people): from Cork €180, from Shannon €250, from Kerry €75). Meet with the guides and presentation of the horses. Free dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or guest house in Killarney.

Day 2: Glenbeigh

KILLARNEY/GLENBEIGH (B/L/-)
With riders, horses, and all luggage ready for transfer, the day begins with a short excursion to the base of Mount Seefinn, the start of our trekking. We then proceed toward Windy Gap, observing the splendor of Caragh Lake and the valley. The route continues toward Coomasaharn Lake, surrounded by Horseshoe Mountain, followed by a scenic tour of some Irish bogs and ending at the stables at Mountain Stage. Tonight and the following night will be spent in the picturesque village of Glenbeigh (Glenbeigh comes from Gleann Beithe, the valley of birches). Almost entirely surrounded by mountains, Glenbeigh is famous for its hospitality and humor. The beauty of the area is breathtaking, with the Behy River and Rossbeigh Strand nearby. Packed lunch, free dinner, and overnight stay in a hotel or guest house.

Day 3: Glenbeigh

GLENBEIGH (B/L/-)
After breakfast, you will be transferred from the horses. In the saddle from Garagh Lake, riding toward the slopes of the surrounding mountains to the long beaches of Glenbeigh. This is the perfect day to enjoy long gallops on the beach with views of Dingle Bay. In the afternoon, return to the stables and transfer to the town. Packed lunch, free dinner, and overnight stay in a hotel or guest house.

Day 4: Waterville

GLENBEIGH/WATERVILLE (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we will set off from Kells Station, riding through the Cnoc Bawn bogs and then to Liss Bawn, admiring some spectacular views of Caherciveen and its surroundings. After a lunch stop, we continue through Island Boy and the Inny Valley. The day ends along the Tulligane Woods. Tonight and the following night will be spent in the coastal village of Waterville. Waterville (the small vortex) sits on a narrow strip of land between Lough Currane and the Atlantic Ocean, right in the center of southwestern Kerry. Located between the seashore and the towering mountains and headlands, the area offers many interesting paths and beautiful beaches. It is said that the first Celtic invaders landed at Ballinskelligs Bay, approaching Waterville. Some archaeological remains found on Church Island, Derrynane Abbey, or Skellig Michael contribute to the area's great historical importance.
Packed lunch, free dinner, and overnight stay in a hotel or guest house.

Day 5: Waterville

WATERVILLE (B/L/-)
A day exploring the surroundings of Waterville and Tulligane Woods in the morning, with a lunch break along the Inny River banks, then returning to the stables via the scenic route along Lough Currane. Packed lunch, free dinner, and overnight stay in a hotel or guest house.

Day 6: Killarney
