Day 1: Fes

In the northeast of Morocco extends a mountain front of unmistakable charm, straddling Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, for about 2400 km in length... You can discover the Atlas on horseback... This mountain range, born from the convergence of the African Plate and the Eurasian Plate, is divided into 7 different mountain ranges and presents unparalleled biodiversity. Join us to discover the Atlas on horseback, a destination chosen by travelers from all over the world. The mountains of Morocco have recently been discovered as a tourist destination, the landscapes are varied, like the beautiful cedar forests where the leopards of Morocco and interesting harmless primates still live. Not to be missed are also the Berber villages that cultivate small plots of land and raise goats and camels.
The Atlas Mountains are characterized by a contrasting yet seductive landscape; the highest peaks are reached by climbing from the rocky valley floor along small dirt roads, which run among huge rocky masses and climb through oak forests. Along the way, you will encounter frozen lakes, rocky streams, and small villages built on the rocks, until you reach the snowy peaks. From time to time, the landscape becomes more arid and bare, where the mountain opens into dizzying ravines. A testament to the charm that, according to legends and tales of the Maghreb people, the Atlas Mountains have always evoked in visitors to this splendid region of Morocco, is an oil painting by Winston Churchill called "Sunset over the Atlas Mountains"; this painting, which the British Prime Minister presumably painted in 1935 from the balcony of his room at the Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech. Come and discover this fascinating territory from the height of a beautiful Berber horse's saddle!

The horses will be waiting for you. Dinner and overnight stay in a mobile camp set up just outside the city.

Day 3: Fes

B / L / D)
Breakfast and departure on horseback through this very green area, vast lavender plains, and forest, inhabited by monkeys and a myriad of birds. In the afternoon, the vegetation will give way to almost desolate valleys until evening, where we will camp near a water source perfect for refreshing ourselves.

Day 4: Fes

B / L / D)
We will reach the Tchachoukt mountains, where we will climb up to 2000 meters to discover a beautiful view of the Gigou valley. We will cross the Ain Nokra river where the horses can drink, with canyons, valleys, and large trees. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 5: Fes

B / L / D)
We will gallop for a long time through the beautiful grassy plains we will encounter this morning, the land of nomads, with no villages nearby. After lunch, we will stop near Lake Aguelmane Sidi Ali, where you can swim with the horses. We will set up camp here for the night.

Day 6: Fes

Today, we leave the green lake area to venture into the volcanic region of Bekrite. It will be amazing to see the contrast between the green blades of grass and the black lava stones. The camp will be set up near a river.

Day 7: Fes

B / L / D)
Today, cultivated agricultural areas and dotted villages will alternate with wild zones with multicolored rocks. This will be the hardest day in the saddle. We will reach the Oum-Erbia river, a famous spot among local tourists, with various cafes and bars along the riverbanks. Overnight camp on the shores of Lake Ouiouane.
