Day 1: Inari

ITALY / INARI (-/L/D)
Lapland is the northernmost region of Finland, a sparsely populated area bordering Sweden, Norway, Russia, and the Baltic Sea. It is known for its vast, uninhabited subarctic zones, and the phenomenon of the Northern Lights, which can be seen here for about 200 nights a year.
With Europe’s largest lake district, Finland is known as the “Land of a Thousand Lakes,” a labyrinth of blue and green forests, lakes, and islands, all interconnected, forming peninsulas and hidden passages to lagoons and secret spots. On our strong Finnish horses, we will fully immerse ourselves in unspoiled nature while exploring the vast tundra, discovering rivers and lakes.
Arrive at Ivalo International Airport (IVL) in Inari. Self-transfer to the stables, about 20 km away (overnight stay on request), and meet for 9:00 AM. Horse assignments and a ride of about 35-40 km. The pace is relaxed and moderate, with some galloping spots. After 3-4 hours in the saddle, a picnic lunch will be provided. The day ends at a tented camp set up in the wild near a gold extraction site. After taking care of the horses, we enjoy a dinner by the fire. Washing options are limited, but a stream flows next to the camp, and a water canister is available for washing your teeth, etc. Overnight in a shared warm tent for 3-4 people. If a single tent is desired, you must bring your own.

Day 2: Inari

INARI (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the camp and preparation of horses for a 5-6 hour ride. Today we will explore forests and climb hills to enjoy a panoramic view of the lush vegetation. A picnic lunch will be served, and in the afternoon, we will reach tonight’s camp by a river, where you’ll have the luxury of a camp sauna! For the brave, you can take a dip in the cold Tolos River! Dinner at the camp and overnight in a spacious tent with a wood stove for heating.

Day 3: Inari

INARI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, it’s back in the saddle. Initially, we ride along the riverbank and then ascend marked trails to the magnificent Kulmakuru scenery. We’ll enjoy a light and tasty lunch along the way. We arrive at Laanilan Kievari (kievari = an inn) around 4:00-5:00 PM, and after letting the horses graze on the lawn, it’s time to relax in the sauna. If desired, you can also swim in an outdoor pool. After the sauna, we will enjoy a delicious three-course dinner and overnight at the inn.

Day 4:

INARI / ITALY (B/-/-)
After breakfast, we ride to the gold extraction site of Rainbow's End, where we stop for a coffee. We enjoy the coffee while learning about the local gold extraction process. After the visit, we start our return ride to the stables and enjoy a lunch along the way. We climb the hill once more to appreciate the vast landscape we explored in the previous days. We reach the stables by 5:00 PM.
Self-transfer to Inari airport (overnight stay on request).
