Day 1: Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV/ MOSHAV SHARONA (-/-/D)
Embark on a horseback journey that touches the sacred sites of the Bible. A horseback trek in Israel is a complete journey in every sense; it’s not just a trip through nature, but also a cultural and religious experience. The locations and characters will take you back to the writings of the Old and New Testaments: you will pass through ancient Roman battlefields, cross ancient trade and pilgrimage routes, and visit sacred places mentioned in the Bible. On this journey, you will visit three different geographical areas: starting from Nazareth, the birthplace of Jesus, we will ride through the mountainous region of Galilee to the Jordan River, which is important to both Christians and Jews, and the vast Sea of Galilee (also called Lake Tiberias due to its size). Following ancient routes, we will head toward Jerusalem, explore the desert, and conclude our trip in style by reaching Masada, an ancient fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site.
You will see a wide variety of terrains: from the beautiful Jordan Valley to the desolate and haunting scenery of the southern desert. We will stay in country lodges, with one night spent in a tent in the desert, where, after a long and hard day in the saddle, you can admire the landscape from a biblical mountaintop. At the end of the trip, you can take a dip in the healing waters of a spa by the Dead Sea, and the last night will be spent enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Tel Aviv, a modern city offering many entertainment options, colorful markets, great shops, and beautiful beaches.

Pick-up from Ben Gurion International Airport at 4:20 PM, or from your hotel in Tel Aviv at 3:30 PM, followed by a transfer (USD 40 to be paid on-site) to Moshav Sharona in the Lower Galilee region. Dinner and overnight stay in a charming country lodge.

Day 2: Tel Aviv

MOSHAV SHARONA (B/L/D)
After assigning the horses, we begin the first day in the saddle, riding through the beautiful nature of this region, passing by Kfar Keesh and Tel Rechesh, said to be the site of the legend of King Solomon. We return to the stables for some relaxation, and then head by vehicle to Mount Tabor to visit the Church of the Transfiguration. Next, we visit Nazareth for a walking tour of the city, a fascinating place filled with aromas and flavors, which we will experience for dinner at a typical Bedouin restaurant. Return to Sharona for the overnight stay.

Day 3: Tel Aviv

MOSHAV SHARONA (B/L/D)
We ride again to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Sirin Heights area, characterized by numerous ponds and small waterfalls, to reach the viewpoint of Mitzpe Ayloat, from which you can see the entire Jordan Valley. We will pass through Yaela Grove, the site where, according to the Book of Judges, Jael, the wife of Eber, killed Sisera. We will continue to the river, where in summer you can cool off and take a swim, then move on to the Kibbutz Degania, the first kibbutz in the world, where we will learn about this unique way of life. Overnight at the lodge in Sharona.

Day 4: Tel Aviv

MOSHAV SHARONA/HAZOREA (B/L/D)
Depart towards Tel Megiddo through the Ramot Menashe National Park. Tel Megiddo is believed to be the site of Armageddon, the epic battle associated with the end of the world; once an important city for trade, it now only leaves ruins as testimony to its past inhabitants. On the way back, we will stop to visit a cave that was used in the second half of the 20th century for Palmach training, an elite group of fighters. Overnight at the beautiful Kibbutz Dalia lodge.

Day 5: Tel Aviv

HAZOREA (B/L/D)
A day dedicated to exploring the beautiful Carmel region, which will take us to El-Maharrakah, the site where the prophet Elijah, an important figure in the Old Testament, challenged and defeated the prophets of Baal. We will visit a Carmelite monastery and return to Kibbutz Dalia.

Day 6: Tel Aviv

HAZOREA / JERUSALEM / JUDEAN DESERT (B/L/D)
Transfer by car to Jerusalem and visit the Old City, following the Via Dolorosa, which Jesus walked on his way to the crucifixion. After a local lunch, we will head to the desert for an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 7: Tel Aviv

JUDEAN DESERT (B/L/D)
Meanwhile, our horses will have arrived, and we will visit this endless desert on horseback. We will learn about the culture and lifestyle of the Bedouins and follow ancient camel tracks to reach the Kanaim Valley, where we will set up camp for a relaxing evening around the fire.

Day 8: Tel Aviv

JUDEAN DESERT / TEL AVIV (B/L/-)
Another thrilling day in the desert. We will ride through the Kanaim Valley and surrounding hills with views of the Dead Sea. We will follow ancient mule tracks used by the Roman legions until the majestic Masada mountain appears. From there, we will proceed by vehicle to a spa for a treatment with Dead Sea mud. Transfer to Tel Aviv and overnight stay at a 4-star hotel (dinner not included).

Day 9:
