Day 1: Victoria Falls

If you have ever thought about embarking on a horseback safari in Zimbabwe, know that this extraordinary country offers some of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world: Victoria Falls and the magnificent Hwange National Park, the largest in Zimbabwe. It is home to 400 different bird species and 107 types of mammals. The region we will explore on horseback is covered by the deep sands of the Kalahari, the perfect terrain for horses, with a predominantly flat landscape. The Zambezi teak and camelthorn forests surround numerous waterhole systems. Be amazed by the intricate shapes of these great ancient trees, which have shaded and nourished thousands of animals over the centuries and will also provide us with a welcome respite from the African sun as we enjoy a delicious lunch. We will also pass through the following habitats: Silver Terminalia, Coppiced Teak, Kalahari Apple Leaf, and Kalahari Sand Acacia. Upon request, we can organize an extension to Victoria Falls—a breathtaking cascade of water plunging over a kilometer wide and 128 meters high, marking the geographical border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, allowing for stunning views from the opposite shore.
We invite you to experience this wonderful country on horseback, where the colors, scents, and sensations of Zimbabwe will leave a lasting impression on your heart.

ITALY/VICTORIA FALLS/IGANYANA (-/-/D)
Pick-up at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) and transfer to Iganyana Private Tented Camp. Brief horseback safari in the afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Early wake-up and breakfast around the fire. While the horses are transported by truck to the park entrance, we will enjoy a morning game drive. After paying the park entry fee (remember to have the exact amount in USD), we will mount up for our first safari. Picnic lunch near a waterhole or at the camp. This area features sandy terrain typical of the Kalahari Desert, and the sporadic waterholes allow for excellent wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Dopi or Camp Baikiaea.

Day 3: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Early wake-up and morning horseback safari, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures. Return for a late lunch, followed by a siesta. In the afternoon, another ride or a walking safari around the camp. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Dopi or Camp Baikiaea.

Day 4: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/-/D)
Another early start, with departure times varying by season (the first half of the year is very cold, so we begin around 6:30 AM, while October, November, and December require wake-up at 4:30 AM due to the heat). We set out to explore the area once more, following no set paths—our route is determined by the sounds heard overnight, animal tracks, weather conditions, and other factors. The day may be a half-day or full-day ride, with a picnic lunch near a waterhole for wildlife observation. If lunch is at the camp, an afternoon walking or vehicle safari is possible. Some additional waterholes are excellent for birdwatching. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Dopi or Camp Baikiaea.

Day 5: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Today we transfer to another camp, covering approximately 30 km on horseback to reach Kennedy Camp or Vachellia Camp.

Day 6: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Morning horseback safari in the Kennedy Vlei area, renowned for its high concentration of wildlife. Alternatively, a walking or 4x4 safari to Ngweshla. Dinner and overnight stay at Kennedy Camp or Vachellia Camp.

Day 7: Hwange National Park

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK/IGANYANA (B/L/D)
Final horseback safari covering approximately 15 km to exit the park, where vehicles and a truck await to transport the horses. Game drive to Iganyana Camp.

Day 8:
