Day 1: Tarifa

For those who dream of horseback riding in Andalusia, an equestrian stay in Tarifa can be incredibly fulfilling. This is the southernmost town in all of Spain—and in Europe. Ferries depart from here and reach Tangier in just one hour. Tarifa is a lively village in summer, especially known among kite-surf enthusiasts thanks to the warm Levante wind that constantly blows in from Africa. Tarifa boasts a charming, whitewashed historic center, a 9th-century castle, and the unique atmosphere of a frontier land.
Choosing to organize a horseback riding trip in Andalusia means fulfilling the dream of galloping freely along the white sands of a long beach, riding beautiful Andalusian horses. These horses are symbolic of the region and known worldwide for their natural elegance. Existing since pre-Roman times, these magnificent animals were often used in warfare due to their courage and loyalty.
You’ll enjoy a relaxing yet thrilling holiday that allows you to experience the many facets of this beautiful Spanish region. Thanks to its mild and breezy climate, it’s an ideal destination year-round. From here, you can easily reach Jerez de la Frontera (home to the famous Royal Andalusian School), Cádiz, Ronda, and the stunning Seville.

Day 3: Tarifa

TARIFA (B/L/D)
Today we’ll ride along the southernmost trails of the continent, from which you can spot the distant African coastline. According to mythology, this is where the Pillars of Hercules once stood.
Today's ride follows what could be considered the southernmost route of the Iberian Peninsula, running parallel to the coast along an ancient livestock trail. The entire journey offers breathtaking views of the Strait, Morocco, and the Rock of Gibraltar, with the Pillar of Hercules and Djebel Musa facing us across the sea.
Djebel Musa was a mythological element of the Strait of Gibraltar and was believed to mark the edge of the Greek world—until, according to the Greek historian Herodotus, Colomo Satos crossed it in the 7th century BCE.
Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Tarifa

TARIFA (B/-/D)
After breakfast, we set off from the base of the mountains down to the sea, discovering the Andalusian countryside. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Tarifa

Our trails take us through the Sierra, offering unmatched views of the Strait of Gibraltar and, weather permitting, the entire North African coast.
We’ll pass through a wind farm and then descend into a stunning pine forest with gorgeous views over the Ojén Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Tarifa

TARIFA (B/-/D)
After breakfast, we’ll enjoy our last ride, exploring pine forests and the golden "Playa de los Lances" beach. Meals on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
